From my research and conversations, this is how I currently view the neuroinclusion at work discussion …

  • Employees want their employers to embrace neuroinclusion (creating a workplace where all brains can thrive including those with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia etc)
  • Neurodivergent employees want their workplace to embrace neuroinclusion – create a safe space, anxiety free, where they can be themselves and thrive. Currently, fear of stigma and discrimination ensure their masks stay firmly in place
  • The Australian government now expects neuroinclusion – reducing psychosocial hazards – via new psychosocial hazard regulations established in 2025.
  • Employers understand the benefits of diversity and inclusion at work – increased engagement and retention, and that neuroinclusive changes flow on and benefit all employees. However, lack of understanding, prioritisation in other areas and concern about getting things wrong, holds leaders back from taking that first step.

This is for all employers who don’t know where to start

  • 1 in 5 are neurodivergent – so you already have a neurodiverse workforce (untapped potential!)
  • Think of neurodivergent brains as different ways of processing, planning, interpreting the world around them. Diversity in thought.
  • Drop the words deficit and disorder. Replace with difference – different perspective, strengths
  • Provide awareness sessions for your workforce, and training for people Leaders, HR, health and safety etc

16-20 March 2026 is Neurodiversity Celebration week

Neuroinclusion Celebration Week (16–20 March 2026) is an ideal moment to turn “we care about neurodiversity” into visible action your people can see and feel. Throughout March, I’m running 45‑minute online Thriving Differently Minis: bite‑sized neurodiversity awareness sessions that work just as well for a close‑knit team of 10 as they do for a company of 400. I combine lived experience, real stories and up‑to‑date research to spark curiosity, build empathy, bust myths, and give all attendees a few simple inclusion tips they can start using straight away.

🟣 50% of fee donated 🟣 To make each session count twice, 50% of every Mini booking in March will be donated to a neurodiversity‑focused charity supporting our community.

Contact me if you want to book a mini and kick off your workplace neuroinclusion awareness campaign.
